Bayer PostDoc Workshop, Berkeley USA, August 19 - 22, 2007

The Bayer AG, Germany, kindly invites postdoctoral scientists researching in the fields of synthetic organic chemistry, chemical biology, catalysis, polymer chemistry and material sciences to participate in the 2007 Bayer PostDoc Workshop.
This workshop will be an excellent occasion to discuss highlights from Bayer’s recent research in the Life and Chemical Sciences, to present one´s individual scientific results, to visit the biotechnology research facilities in Berkeley and to explore specific job opportunities within the Bayer organization.
Over the next few years, Bayer AG expects to have several openings in its various Research Departments. It is Bayer´s intention to attract highly motivated scientists with excellent experience in synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis, polymer chemistry, and material sciences, to fill these challenging positions.

Location
The workshop will take place at the “Claremont resort and Spa” in Berkeley, CA. This location provides a stimulating environment for scientific exchange and discussion. Ample time will be available to make personal contacts with representatives from Bayer HealthCare, Bayer CropScience and Bayer MaterialScience while enjoying the California countryside and shoreline and experiencing its unique cuisine.
